Handsome horse wood sculpture by Oaxaca woodcarving artist Pedro Carreño. The figure is very well carved, fluid, and elegant. It has a great sense of movement and character. The face is particularly well carved. The painted design combines Zapotec fretwork with contemporary geometric elements defining and texturing the mane and tail. Gorgeous!
