Spectacular imperial iguana by top Oaxacan artist Nestor Melchor. Nestor's work is superb, making him arguably one of the best painting artists in Oaxaca. The carving is simply impressive. Notice the wonderful curving tail and the incredible sense of movement. Nestor creates amazingly detailed designs with minute details, shadows and color graduations.
