Magnificent large gila monster by top Oaxaca artist Manuel Cruz. This one-piece carving is extraordinary. Manuel created this sculpture from a single piece of wood and when looked from above it is almost a perfect circle. The painting by Ruvi, Manuels's wife is absolutely superb with the classic Cruz Zapotec complex designs. In addition to the gorgeous painting, the Gila Monster has six incrusted polished stones. This is truly an exceptional piece!
