This is a magnificent tall sculpture of a puffin, created by the renowned wood carving artist Luis Pablo. He is considered one of the best in Oaxaca and is amongst the few who handcrafts each and every piece from start to finish. Luis Pablo takes care of the entire process, right from the design to the carving and painting of his creations. The brightly colored beak of this bird adds to its charm and makes it an example of his exceptional artistry.
