Javier Martinez and his wife Gaby created this amazing Day of the Dead-themed olla. It is a day view of Mata Ortiz's graveyard. The etched skeletons and tombs are dedicated to some of the top Mata Ortiz creators who have passed away such as Nicolas Quezada, Spencer McCallum, Consolacion Quezada, Guadalupe Gallegos... The top and bottom are decorated in red lace-like etching. As you can see, it is a festive portrayal of one of Mexico's most important celebrations, The Day of the Dead.
