Demetrio Cortes: Javelina Woodcarving

Oaxacan woodcarving artist Demetrio Cortes created this handsome Javalina wood sculpture. The figure is very nicely painted, with fine silver strokes that create an illusion of fur. I love the color incisions on its back!
