This hand-carved copal wood owl by master Oaxacan artist Candido Jiménez brings a gentle, welcoming presence to any room. Carved from a single piece of copal wood and painted entirely by hand, the owl’s soft purple body blooms with a full bouquet of flowers in red, blue, white, and orange—a signature of Jiménez’s floral style. Delicate star-like dots dust the owl’s warm red face, while a small yellow beak adds a cheerful accent. A crest resembling a tiny flower-topped hat completes the piece, giving it a playful, tender character true to traditional Oaxacan alebrije craftsmanship.
