Bertha Cruz: Baby Opossum

Lovely little baby opossum by well-known Oaxaca artist Bertha Cruz. This opossum is beautifully carved, with its circular tail and has a very attractive painted design. The design includes stylized corn plants as well as Zapotec fretwork.
