Adrian Xuana: Midnight Sorcerer Woodcarving

Meet the spell-weaving sorcerer of Oaxaca, sculpted by the inventive hands of Adrián Xuana. Standing tall in a robe as bright as midday marigolds, this whimsical wizard wields a cobalt-blue “feather” staff that seems to pulse with otherworldly energy.   Her moon-and-star-spotted cloak shimmered in yellow and red, as if she had plucked the night sky itself and wrapped it around her shoulders.   Her long, braided Ixtle ponytail looked like a comet’s tail, even her whiskers seemed poised to twitch in anticipation of the next great illusion.
