Miguel Santiago created this charming opossum. Miguel is a legendary first generation carves in Oaxaca. For years he was considered one of the finest wood carvers in Oaxaca. He has developed a style of his own, paying particular attention to the faces of his subjects. The design of the eyes and ears of the figures are a distinguishing characteristic of his carvings. The eyes are not only painted but carved as well. Miguel's production is very limited. This opossum is a lovely figure.
