Gorgeous owl and monkey fusion woodcarving by Oaxacan artist Jorge Vazquez. The sculpture is very well carved and perfectly integrates the owl's face with the monkey's body. Fusions, as they are called in Oaxaca, are traditional figures from Oaxacan culture. The painting of this special figure is wonderful!
