Charming little owl by Oaxacan woodcarving artist Angel Matias. Small enough to sit in the palm of your hand, this little owl packs a lot of personality into a very small package. Angel carved it in a round, compact form with those big, blue, wide-open eyes that make it impossible to resist.
The painting is bold and confident, a teal facial disc with radiating lines, a body of rich purple and hot pink, and a surprise of orange and yellow on the back. Beautifully executed and full of character. A perfect little treasure.
