The painting is superb... the perfect combination of warm red, light orange, & golden yellow colors with a precise delicate painting of a very complex design The wings are carved on the inside and painted on both sides to perfection. The design features Zapotec fretwork, little-stylized fish, intricate mandalas. This is certainly an outstanding museum quality piece! Note that the figure looks smaller in the pictures but it is actually 19" long.
