Nestor Melchor's carvings are certainly some of the most spectacularly painted in Oaxaca. This very elegant night coyote is very well carved and painted in sapphire blue and sky night tones. Notice the beautiful pattern on the posterior legs that resemble a bordado, folk embroidery piece. A wonderful piece!
