This fabulous Mata Ortiz Nativity story-olla by Israel Quintana Lopez is spectacular. Israel beautifully etched the Holy Family, the Three Wise Men, shepherds, barn animals, the barn, and the manger. Israel is the nephew of Leonel Lopez, who is the master of etched story ollas, and his work has been included in all major Museum Exhibits of Mata Ortiz pottery. Israel certainly has the talent and artistry of his uncle and mentor.
