This stunning one-piece chameleon sculpture is the creation of Isabel Fabian, a top woodcarving artist from Oaxaca. The beautifully carved dorsal crest is painted in gradated hues of orange and golden yellow, which contrast elegantly with the greens and reds of the body. I love the design of the head in black and gray, reminiscent of the Art Deco era. The coloring and painting are simply exquisite.
