This graceful giraffe was created by woodcarving artist Saulo Mandarin. The Mandarin family is of Chinese ancestry and it is interesting to observe the influence of this millenary culture in their work. The giraffe is very well carved and beautifully painted. Its mane and tail are made of natural Ixtle fibers from the agave plants!
