Very attractive maroon handwoven cotton tote with zippers from Santo Tomas Jalieza in Oaxaca. Jalieza is a small town dedicated to the art of handwoven pieces. It is 16 miles of the City of Oaxaca. This cotton tote is woven using the ancestral telar de cintura, back-strap weaving loom method. It has two lovely handmade tassel dolls. Color-matched inside lining.
