Absolutely spectacular small sculpture by Oaxacan artist Raymundo Fabian. This Zapotec Warrior figure is one of the most beautiful, impressive pieces I have seen come out of Oaxaca. Every element is so harmonious, perfectly carved and so incredibly painted. Take a look at the eagle,and the beautiful shield!!Raymundo won first prize in woodcarving in FOFA's 2008 young artists' competition with a similar piece. Simply mind blowing!
