Majestic lidded bird olla by Mata Ortiz artist Olivia Dominguez. Olivia is a well known Mata Ortiz potter, that creates beautiful ollas adorned with swirling snakes and magnificently etched designs. One of her ollas just won 1st Place in the Premio Nacional de la Ceramica, Mexican National Ceramic competition held yearly in Guadalajara Mexico. In addition she has won numerous awards for her incredible ceramic pieces. This spectacular olla is magnificently etched with an amazing design of flowers, birds, butterflies and leaves.
