Very attractive hummingbirds and butterflies olla by Mata Ortiz artist Olga Arras, wife of master potter Manolo Rodriguez. The black line-work design is very interesting. At first, it looks like diamond shaped poinsettias, as the design continues to the middle of the pot, the lines form rectangular prisms! The design begins at the bottom of the pot, with a central butterfly from which the linework goes all around the pot. A very interesting piece!
