Gorgeous duck effigy created by Nancy Heras. This duck is very well balanced and doesn't need a pottery ring to stand! Beautifully painted in traditional red and black natural pigments. A similar piece by Nancy & husband Luiz Martinez was part of The Field Museum's exhibit of Mata Ortiz pottery. Sadly Nancy Heras passed away in August 2016.
