Handsome fierce lion by top Oaxaca artist Manuel Cruz. This figure is very well carved, dynamic and expressive. The painting by Manuel's wife is absolutely superb.She created an intricate design, with flowing fretwork lines and geometric patterns that emphasize the shape of the lion. Gorgeous!
