Absolutely spectacular flying bat by top Oaxaca artist Luis Pablo. This fabulous one-piece bat is such a great sculpture. To begin with, it is magnificently carved, just look at the curvature of the wings and the sense of being in flight. The face has a very nice expression and is beautifully painted. Simply magnificent!
