Spectacular Day of the Dead canoe woodcarving by Oaxaca artist Luis Angel Lucamo. The dragon canoe carries two skeletons and a rabbit spirit animal! During the Day of the Dead celebrations, there are decorated canoes in many regions of Mexico, particularly in Michoacan state. The canoe is beautifully decorated with fretwork designs and little fish. One of the skeletons has a woven sombrero and a paddle. Gorgeous!
