Simply spectacular rattlesnake by artist Javier Jimenez. Javier is a Master Woodcarver in Oaxaca. His painting is superb. This serpent is a fine example of his work. Wonderfully carved, with a gracefully curving body, its fierce head, and its rattle. The painting is so detailed, precise and harmonious. Even the forked tongue is painted.
