Absolutely magnificent mother owl guarding its two little owlets wood sculpture by top Oaxacan woodcarving artist Isabel Fabian. This one-piece wood sculpture is spectacularly carved. The owls are on a tree with a hole where one of the little owls observes the world. The painted design is astonishing. Take a look at the perfection of each line Isabel painted. Notice the beautiful graduations of color she created and the wonderful coloring of this spectacular figure. The back of the owl's wings creates a stunning heart-like design. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful woodcarvings I have seen!
