This miniature monkey on tree sculpture is a special collaboration of two well known Oaxacan artists, Magdaleno and Angel Fabian. Magdaleno is one of the most talented carvers today. He is young and already has won numerous awards for his impressive sculptures. This one-piece figure is magnificently carved by Magdaleno and painted by his no less talented cousin Angel Fabian.
