Mariano Quezada: Lidded Olla

Stunning black on black lidded olla by artist Mariano Quezada. The lid is shaped like an ancient Paquime T Door that sits at the top of the tejido, knitted design bowl. Mariano is the son of first-generation Mata Ortiz potter Reynaldo Quezada who was the first artist in Mata Ortiz to create the tejido design.
