This mouse by Oaxacan artist Armando Jimenez has absolutely no idea it's a mouse! The copal wood has been carved into a compact, upright little figure with two enormous ears that dwarf the rest of its body — green-and-yellow polka dots on the outside, deep purple-and-white stripes lining the inside, making each ear its own little painting universe.
A long, boldly striped tail curls up behind like a question mark. Cheerful, offbeat, and completely lovable.
