For many years the most important Mexican artist alive today, Francisco Toledo has created beautiful kites. World known for his paintings and sculptures, Toledo has donated his designs to local craftsmen to ensure they have a better way of life. Each art kite is an exquisite work of art, rich with the themes and symbolism such as elephants, bats, monkeys and human figures. This kite depicting a monkey and turtles is made with hand made paper, natural fibers and natural pigments by local craftsmen.. The tail is also made out of paper.
Each kite is signed, by hand, by Francisco Toledo and includes on the back an identifying card.
