Luis Pablo: Pacific Northwest Pterodactyl Woodcarving

Majestic  Pacific Northwest Pterodactyl wood sculpture created by top Oaxacan woodcarvings artist Luis Pablo. This flying pterosaurs is decorated with Pacific North Western symbols. Look at the elevated wings and the sense of being in flight. The face has a very nice expression, with its little teeth perfectly carved, and is beautifully painted. These pre-historic carnivores were the first animals after insects to evolve powered flight.  It has such a forceful and appealing painted design. A stunning work of art!
