Absolutely stunning tall dog by artist Rocio Fabian. Rocio is definitely one of the most talented woodcarving painters in Oaxaca today. This tall ribbed cat is so delicately painted. The coloring so well was chosen and the design spectacular! The ribs are carved out giving the figure volume and dimension. The subtle golden-cream tone on the body of the dog brings out the beauty of the complex fretwork of the design. The tail's decorations including little fish are wonderful as well!
