Milagros are charms that are traditionally used to thank a Saint or the Virgin Mary for a prayer, a miracle answered. The person who's prayer is answered will typically go to the church where the figure of the Saint is to give thanks for the favor received. Milagros are usually attached to the Saints statues or altars.
